Match & Learn
Match & Learn is a memory card game designed to help young kids build recall, recognition, and early learning skills while they play. It covers six themed categories with multiple levels of increasing difficulty and two distinct game modes. The first three categories are completely free, and a single one-time purchase unlocks the rest. No ads, no subscriptions. The whole thing is built natively for iPhone and iPad using SwiftUI.

Two Ways to Play
Game Mode is the classic memory game. Flip cards, find matches, and try to clear the board. Levels get harder as kids progress, starting with a small grid and working up to tougher layouts. Learn Mode slows things down. Kids flip a card, see the image, and hear the word spoken out loud. It turns the matching game into a vocabulary builder, connecting pictures to words in a way that sticks.
Built for Little Hands
Every part of the interface is designed for kids who are still learning to tap and swipe. Cards are big and easy to hit. Animations are smooth but not distracting. There is no text to read and no confusing menus. The whole experience uses large visuals, bright colors, and audio cues so even the youngest players can navigate on their own.
Real Learning, Not Just Screen Time
Each category introduces kids to a set of real-world objects and concepts. Shapes, animals, fruits, vegetables, transportation, and household items. Every card features a colorful illustration and an audio label. Kids are building memory, pattern recognition, and vocabulary all at the same time without realizing they are learning.
Safe and Distraction-Free
There are no ads, no subscriptions, and no links to external sites. The first three categories are free, and a single one-time purchase unlocks everything else. That purchase is protected behind a parental gate so kids cannot buy anything on their own. Parents can hand over their phone and not think twice.
Accessible by Design
Sound effects and background music can be toggled independently, and the app respects reduced motion preferences for kids who are sensitive to animations. The color palette was chosen for strong contrast and visibility. The goal was to make the app usable and comfortable for every kid, not just most of them.
Progress That Motivates
Kids earn up to three stars per level based on how quickly and accurately they match. A progress map shows which levels they have completed and how many stars they have collected. It gives them a reason to come back, replay levels for a better score, and keep moving forward through all the levels.
